JMRL provides proctoring as a courtesy service for written and online tests. Please complete the form below so a librarian can contact you to schedule a suitable testing time that works for both you and staff availability.
Basic Guidelines:
- A proctored test must be taken within the library's open hours. Each branch has different operating hours, so check your location’s hours to confirm availability.
- Procedures vary by location. Please speak to a staff member at your chosen location with any questions before scheduling.
- Private rooms or completely quiet environments cannot be guaranteed. If the test requires complete silence and privacy then JMRL might not be the best option.
Student Responsibilities:
- Know and follow your testing institution's specific proctoring standards.
- Bring any materials needed for the exam, including, but not limited to, pencils, pens, notes, textbooks, or calculators.
- If a specific software is needed to complete the exam, bring your own computer/laptop with the software installed. JMRL cannot download external software onto library devices.
- The library can fax, scan or email the completed exam; please note students are responsible for all delivery and printing fees if applicable.
- If mailing is required, provide postage and an envelope. The library can send materials via USPS only when postage is supplied.
Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth testing process.
