Introducing Sensory Support Kits

Gordon Avenue Library's social narrative walks you through what to expect out of a visit to the library branch. It is a slideshow about what a person will see and hear at the library, what the library offers, and how to follow library rules. 

The social narrative can help anyone feel comfortable when they are new to the library, and is especially meant to help people with autism, ADHD, and anxiety.  Gordon Avenue Library also offers Sensory Kits, a set of tools for people who need additional r reduced sensory stimulation to use while visiting the library.

Faxing is available at $1 for each page, including any cover pages, within the United States.
