The teen librarians at JMRL have put together a fantastic collection of resources to help you with your homework and research projects. Some of the resources are web sites, and some are online databases.
All have been checked by a librarian, so you can use them with confidence.
So what are these “online databases”?
The Library subscribes to these databases, which means they are available to you as a Library user. They contain valuable information on a lot of subjects that you might need for research, homework assignments, or just things you want to know about. With these databases, you have access to news articles, excerpts, biographies, current events—all
kinds of information.
One benefit to these databases is that the information contained in them has been researched, reviewed, edited, and approved, just like reference books. Sometimes they are online versions of books that exist in
print. That means they can be regarded as a legitimate research resource.
